Happy Memorial Day to everyone! Today I'm remembering my dad. He served in the Navy during Vietnam. I know that this is an Army card - I didn't have a sailor image! I will be on the hunt for one. Wow! What a week! We got through the writing assessments for school and the kids did better than I expected! That is always a relief! Three more weeks of school and hello summer! Now we are getting ready for our 1st and 2nd grade play. That is always an experience. I am just glad that I was able to find time to create a card. Hello everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful week. All I can say is that state testing for our school is over and all we have is 4 weeks left of school! Yay!!! We still have writing assessments to do and we are planning on doing them this next week, then three weeks of prepping them for the next grade. I'm hoping that the time goes quickly as this has been somewhat of a long year for me.
I just found out that a friend of mine is having a baby girl and I thought that it would be fun to make a card for her. I made two versions, alternating the papers. I hope that you like them.
