Posted by Picasa
What a busy week! I hope that you all have had a wonderful time creating cards! This sketch sure was a lot of fun! Bugaboo Stamps is our wonderful sponsor this week and the winner gets to choose SEVEN, digi stamps that value $21!!! I am using their Bee image from the Wee Ones Bugs set. Isn't he cute? Head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday to play along. I used my Zig H2O brush to color him and I used my Sweetberry Ink Dye Pads: raven and amber. I also used my Create-A-Finish Shading Cake Kit: peach. I added Tulip Fashion Glitter on the antenae and wings. The black cardstock is from the DCWV The Cardstock Stack and the cream is from The Paper Company "Seaside" pack. The printed papers are DCWV papers that were in my stash. I used my Cricut Plantin SchoolBook cartridge to cut the ovals. The flower eyelet embellishments are from my stash as well. I used two kinds of ribbon. The black is from Jo-Ann's and the yellow is from a 6-pack that I got from Target in the $1 bin. The flower embellishments on the bottom are homemade flowers that my mom had given me. Have fun and happy crafting!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge 54

This was a fun card to make. It was inspired by our recent events with South Africa hosting the World Cup. My husband loves the World Cup and, in fact, it is the only sporting event that he will watch. Of course, the colors represent Brazil, which is a family favorite. It is the team we cheer for! They are an amazing team. I saw this freebie image from Bugaboo Stamps called Soccer Nut and I thought it was totally appropriate. The papers came from my stash. The blue cardstock is DCWV papers, the other cardstock came from The Paper Company from the Seaside and Primary packs. The printed papers came from my stash and the soccer was actually cut out from paper from the DCWV Grade School Stack. I used my Zig Brush H20 to color the image. I used my Sweetberry Ink Dye Pads: aspen, ivy, amber, raven, admiral, and java. I really hope that you like my card!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge 53 Anniversary Blog Hop

Wow! What fun this was! I really enjoyed this challenge! The image I used was a freebie a couple of weeks ago from Bugaboo Stamps called SummPeek flowerpot. I thought it was so cute and it's the perfect image for a spring or early summer card. It reminded me of my daughter and all the mischief that she can get into. I used my Sweetberry Ink Dye Pads (colors used: ivy, java, juneberry, velvet, amber, blackberry, and maraschino) and my Zig H20 pen brush to color the image. The paper is from a couple of sources. The cream cardstock is from The Paper Company Seaside pack. The green cardstock comes from DCWV The Cardstock Stack. The other papers came from DCWV Flower Shower Spring Stack. I used my Cricut Plantin SchoolBook cartridge again to cut the circles. The ribbon is actually from the $1 bin at Target. It came in a six pack. The flowers I bought at JoAnn's in a pack by Heidi Grace Designs. And the brads came from Hobby Lobby. Happy Anniversary ladies!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge 52

Wow! What a fun challenge! The image that I used was a freebie from Bugaboo. I really love her images. It's called TURTbirthday. I used my Crayola Super Tips Washable Markers to color it. The paper came from DCWV The Stack 6 and the cardstock is from The Paper Company Seaside Pack. I used ribbon, brads, and a button from Hobby Lobby. The circles were cut out from my Cricut Plantin SchoolBook cartridge. I also used a Distress Ink inkpad to give it an aged look. I hope you like it!
